Welcome to our website— its 2008 and we are excited about this year as we continue to play out at our favorite spots and some new venues to come. THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR LOYAL FRIENDS who come out and support us. A special thank you to the Lindy-Hop, and Swing dancers–you're amazing! We call DJ Slate 'The Ambassador to the Blues', and with the launching of this site, he can spread the music and history of the Blues. DJ has been playing the Blues up-and-down Northern California for over 30 years, and in that time thousands of Blues fans have enjoyed his great harp playing and cool delivery. So explore 'Our Place' here. We have photos, and club and concert schedules, and most importantly, OUR CD 'LIVE AT LAST", AND THE LATEST NEWS!: We have just WON! We are the winners of the MAMA (Modesto Area Musicians Award) Award for Best In Blues and Jazz category for 2007-08. We are currently working on a STUDIO ALBUM--stay tuned for details.
