Well, thanks for checking in on the web site to see how the band is doing. As you can see there have been a few changes. Firstly, James Rasmussen has come onboard as bass player for the band. James brings years of experience to the group, playing bass and singing vocals. Longtime bassist, Tim Bonifay has moved on and relocated, so the band wants to wish Tim continued success in his new ventures. Tim was a big part of the band’s sound and an integral part of the latest CD which should be finished up very soon. The new CD has been a long time in coming and the band is looking forward to completing the project. This latest effort was recorded in part at Sound Chamber Recording with Don Setaro ... The Recording Guy at the helm. Don was responsible for the great sound of the previous CD “Live At Last”. The project features some great playing and singing from all the current members, along with some excellent bass guitar tracks from long time local area musician Gary Hyman, who has filled in live with the band many times over the years as well as playing with blues greats Ron Thompson and Chris Cain on the local scene. We hope to get some sound clips from the new CD up on the site very soon, so you can hear for yourself!
The band wants to thank all of our friends who come out and support local music at all the area venues. We all love live music and this is the way to keep it alive. Check back from time to time to see what changes we’ve made and be sure to take a look at the event calendar, to see where we’ll be next! |
